Dr. Dante Tomaselli
Dr. Dante Tomaselli
has been in private practice in Marietta since 1994, specializing in Periodontics
and Dental Implants. He lives in Kennesaw with his wife Claudia and their two children. Dr. Tomaselli was raised in Smyrna and
Marietta, Georgia and graduated from R.L. Osborne High School in 1981.
He earned his undergraduate degrees in Biology and
Chemistry from Berry College located in Rome, Georgia in 1985. Later, he was presented with the 1994 Outstanding Young
Alumni award from Berry College.
He attended dental school at the Medical College
of Georgia located in Augusta, Georgia and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1989. Among his experiences in school, he traveled to Adelaide, Australia in the summer of 1988 for an externship at the University of Adelaide School of Dentistry. Before graduation, he was awarded membership to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Honorary Dental Society. He then attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Dentistry where he completed his specialty training
in Periodontics and Dental Implants in 1991.
He then taught for two years at the University of
Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he, in 1993, was awarded the
Joseph Appleton Award as the Clinical Instructor of the year. He also
completed a two year Fellowship in Geriatric Dentistry at the
Philadelphia Veterans Administration Hospital.
